Michael R Treanor
Mr. Treanor formed Treanor Advocacy to bring together like-minded professionals dedicated to helping people create economic stability in their lives. Mr. Treanor and his team bring together a unique set of skills to solve financial issues for the firm's clients including identifying client's financial goals, evaluating the issues facing the firm's clients, executing on a strategy to bring stability back into client's lives to allow them to focus on family, career and other important life priorities.
Mr. Treanor holds a BA from The College of the Holy Cross, a JD from Fordham University School of Law and has practiced law at some of the top law firms in the nation. During the sub-prime mortgage crisis in 2007-09, Mr. Treanor volunteered to work for Legal Services of New Jersey in their foreclosure defense practice area. Mr. Treanor represented New Jersey homeowner's who had been offered mortgage loans that they could not afford, resulting in severe economic and social dislocation to tens of thousands of New Jersey residents. Mr. Treanor excelled at his work and in 2010 was awarded LSNJ's Equal Justice Medal for his work.
Since that time, Mr. Treanor has devoted much of his time to assisting homeowners in similar situations - to the point were Mr. Treanor has assembled a team of professionals that share his vision and are exceptionally talented.
Mr. Treanor was admitted to practice law in 1993 in New York (Attorney Registration Number 2518884) and Massachusetts (Board of Bar Overseers Number 562948). Mr. Treanor has practiced in both state and federal courts.
